blimpgato: Finally back from a two(?) month hiatus and the first thing I draw is DAVEKAT. DIDN’T EXPECT THAT, DID YOU? Of course you did. … Karkat accidentally looks terribly displeased, but he’s actually not, okay.. and Dave looks too feminine but i gave up trying to fix it so… shh Anyway, this was kind of a warm-up. I got really frustrated with how poor my drawings for my commissions were coming out so I set them aside to get myself comfortable drawing first to prevent them coming out like crap. It took forever and my hand is KILLING ME but it eventually helped. I also tried something new, as usual, with one-layer shenanigans.. I think it turned out pretty great! <3
