Notes: I was going to write Dirkidan for this, because there’s not enough Eridan in my fanfiction, but BroKat was the first crack pairing I ever truly shipped (and it’s all Terminality’s fault, because of this ‘fic right here.) So this is half-dedicated to miss Terminality, because she’s right - there is a sad, sad lack of BroxKat out there, and let’s face it, I ship poor Karkat with everyone.

This is set in a post-Sburb AU, where Karkat lives around the corner from the Strider house (because why wouldn’t Bro/Dirk/Dave etc. live together?) and spends a lot of his time there.

I had a few versions of him without hat, but he looked like Dirk instead. I guess older men are still hard for me to draw. Probably too hard, lol. Gotta thank Nini because she was the one who corrected me on the hair saying he looked too much like Dirk before, and waited patiently while I edited and sent over and over a slightly different sketch.
